PROJECT DESCRIPTION
JTC aeroSpace @ Seletar Aerospace Park serves as a key hub for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft components, engines, avionics and tooling manufacturing in the Asia-Pacific region. The production floor is designed to be highly functional, column-free with adequate ceiling clearance heights, and each unit is a secured compound.
The latest phase of JTC aeroSpace 3 @ Seletar Aerospace Park comprises nine ready-built standard factories for aerospace companies pursuing greater automation and digitalisation. Higher specifications such as higher ceiling height and floor loading cater to Industry 4.0 technologies as well as the use of heavier and larger equipment.
JTC now requires solar panels to be installed for new land and land-based facility allocations, lease renewals, land launches and tenders in all its estates. As such, LCP Lycorseam metal roof can be designed to accommodate most of the solar PV panels in the market to meet JTC requirements.
LCP Lycorseam is a standing seam roof and wall profile that has a 65 mm high seam and a standard cover width of 408 mm. For the wall feature used in this project, LCP C-Clad Plus is selected as it is a conceal fixing wall cladding with narrow ribs appearance that can be installed horizontally or vertically. Unlike other close ribs cladding, its conceal fixing feature eliminate water seepages problem.
